This course taught didactical skills and made it possible to assist a teacher during a bachelor design studio. Parallel to this, through a series of design exercises, design skills were trained and the design process was examined. In three design processes (2 weeks each) using different domains, decisions were made on the basis of the guiding theme and other relevant criteria. The ultimate aim was to achieve a consistent and coherent design outcome.

One of the design assignments was to design a study and teaching space as well as a technology museum on the TU Delft campus in the form of a strip with a maximum width and height of 7 meters. The guiding theme that is used is the block in block principle that provides a practical organisation of the spaces in the building. The diagrams below show the measurements and the configuration of the blocks.
