I was born in Brussels but am a German and Spanish national. After spending my childhood and young adulthood in Weimar, Bremen and Berlin, I moved to Utrecht in 2015 and graduated from a Dutch high school in 2017. The following year I did an internship at the Spanish consulate in Amsterdam and an internship at Bakers Architecten in Utrecht. Additionally, I volunteered at a homeless shelter in Utrecht. In 2018 I started my Bachelor’s education at the Faculty of Architecture at the TU Delft. I was admitted to the Honours Programme and also joined the Honours Committee. In 2021 I received my bachelor’s degree and became the Student Assistant for the Chair of ‘Methods of Analysis and Imagination’ at the faculty, a position I held until 2024.
After my bachelor’s I took a gap year (21/22) to gain further experience in the architectural practice through a six months internship at Korteknie Stuhlmacher Architecten in Rotterdam.
Furthermore, in the spring of 2022, I attended a teaching course in design education and I assisted teachers during several design and analysis courses at the faculty. In the summer of 2023 I attended the Atelier la Juntana Summer School in Liencres, Spain, organized by the Polytechnic University of Madrid, where I learned many different model making techniques.
In the following academic year I joined the graduation studio of Urban Architecture, which intervenes in medium-sized urban sites and works within the existing urban environment. The studio reads a situation and focuses on the building in relation to the existing context. The research I did throughout the year focused on understanding sequences, not only in architecture but also in other art disciplines, and I graduated cum laude at the end of the year.
After graduating I started working at Atelier FRONT architects in the fall of 2024, where I was involved in the design of a renovation and extension of a primary school and the sketch design of a shop and lounge area. Additionally, I was a part-time lecturer in the course Lectures on Architectural Design and Research Methods at TU Delft, where I taught 25 master’s students about research and analysis methods in architecture.
